FOOD

It is imperative that the nutritional requirements of each competitor are met. The organizers will develop a nutritional program that will provide each of the competitors with the fuel to get through each grueling stage.

Terra Australis Catering Package (Breakfast & Dinner) - $350 per participant $50 p.d  (7 days / 7 nights)

For those who take up the Terra Australis Catering Package they will receive a breakfast pack that will include,

These packs will be picked up from the finish area at the conclusion of each stage before competitors make their way to their accommodation.

The dinner arrangements for the participants who take up the Terra Australis Catering Package will provide high energy foods designed to refuel the weary bodies after another day in the saddle. The North East region of Victoria is renowned for its food and wine. The catering will be delivered by local providers, utilizing local produce. A typical dinner will see participants have a choice of two pasta dishes, two rice dishes, fresh, seasonal salad and vegetables and a choice of two deserts. The format will be buffet style so second and even third helpings will not be denied.

Bottled water will be provided at the evening meals and beverages (alcoholic and soft drink) can be purchased from the bars at the dinning venues.

The dinners will follow the daily presentations at the same venue.

The finish location of each stage is located close to the centre of each stage town. The local town communities all have a wide range of food providers from which you can buy take-away food or dine in café’s. Some may even set up at the finish line. You are responsible for your own nutrition between race finish and the evening meal that we provide.
