CANCELLATION POLICY - REFUNDS
Team Cancellation/withdrawals must be submitted in writing to the race organizers office by the due dates set out below.
Cancellations will not be accepted by phone or fax

Refunds will be made based on the following schedule:
- Received by 12:00 PM on 31st December 2008
A full refund less a service fee of AUD$ 200.00 will be given - Received by 12:00 PM on January 31st 2009
50% refund will be given - No refund is available after 12:00 PM on January 31st 2009
Team Entries are fully transferable. To avoid cancellation penalties, a team can arrange for a new team to take their entry. A rider change fee of AUD$ 50.00 per rider applies to all transferred entries. After 12:00PM on January 31st 2009 the rider change fee will be AUD$ 150.00 per rider. To transfer your registration please download the Transfer Form and submit it to the race organizers office at the address indicated above.

TERRA AUSTRALIS online registration provider Activenetwork.com does not process any refunds. Please do not contact them for a refund, as it will be refused. Refunds will only be granted by the race organizers and made by cheque or direct debit into your bank account. No credits will be made to the credit cards used to make the original payments.
CANCELLATION OF THE RACE/STAGES – NON ATTENDANCE
In the event that the race is cancelled or postponed or a stage is cancelled, postponed or re-routed due to an “act of god”, natural disaster, war, strike, major accident, laws, interventions or actions of statutory bodies or private land owners or any other eventuality beyond the control of the race organizer, no refund will be offered and no compensation for loss for travel expenses or accommodation will be offered. The race organizers will make every effort to reschedule the race at a later date of their choosing. If the participant cannot make the rescheduled date, the participant acknowledges that no refund or credit to future events will be offered. If a registered participant does not attend the race then no refund will be offered.
