Things you want us to STOP doing for 2012
These were the most common responses
- Stage 3 saw tooth section
-
Hike a bike – use only if necessary
-
Wait times for transport
-
Late rider briefings
-
Inaccurate distances for stage briefings
-
Singletrack at the END of stages for the sake of having singletrack
Some of your comments (what would you like us to STOP doing next year?)
•Taking off at warp speed in the car under a "controlled start".
•Nothing, honestly nothing. I've been mtbing & mtb racing for years and this was the most fun I've had on my mtb in my life.
•Wasn't a big fan of collecting brekky at the registration
•No bike pushing sections unless absolutely unavoidable. Bikes are for riding not pushing or carrying.
•Mt Beauty finish/shuttle on day 1. Shuttle bus is a PITA for both organisers and competitors.
•Make the presentations 7.30pm instead of 8
•More accurate route profiles and climbing meters.
•A hill or two every day is fine but not 2 hours worth!
•Finish line at a different place from accommodation
•Different dates (my wife's request!)
•Hike a bike, incorrect distances( every day was longer than discussed), that's it, the rest great
